Social Responsibility

Teknisa proves its citizenship by actively participating in projects that bring significant improvements to the community. Contributing to the society`s welfare is one of our main concerns. Our purpose is not only to share information, money or any other benefit but also to locate and implement actions that have to do with education, promotion of citizenship, professional growth, income generation and community organizations.

UNICEF – Friend of Children

UNICEF gives support to 200 social projects throughout Brazil, mainly in northeastern and northern regions where most children live in poor life conditions.
Teknisa's participation: monthly contribution.

Voluntary work 3 x 1

By means of voluntary work 3 x 1, Teknisa encourages its employees to work in social causes. For every 3 hours of voluntary work at Laço NGO, employees get 1 hour off from the total weekly working hours.
 

ABRINQ Foundation – Programa Nossas Crianças (Our Children Program)
Partner Company of ABRINQ

The Abrinq foundation is responsible for 25 projects and programs in all the brazilian territory. Its main goal is to articulate and mobilize the civil society and the government to take adolescent and infant welfare  as a priority.
 

Association of Leukemic people of Minas Gerais - Leuceminas 1

The Association has been functioning for thirteen years in Belo Horizonte city, providing assistance to needy leukemic children and their relatives, who reside in Brazil. Most of them have great needs and suffer from different types of hardship.
Teknisa’s participation: Monthly contribution.

Cidade dos Meninos São Vicente de Paulo - (Children's city)

Its main goal is to give assistance to poor children, mainly those abandoned. This assistance includes concern about educational, professional, pedagogic, sport, ethical and religious fields. Teknisa's participation: sponsorship.
 

Christian Fund for Children

 It gives assistance to about 80.000 children in brazilian states such as Ceará, Minas Gerais and São Paulo. It counts on sponsors who contribute to children's growth and development in several areas of their lives.
Teknisa's participation: sponsoring Farley Gonçalves de Aguilar.

Children's Home - Mário Pena Hospital

It's a support plan for children with cancer and their relatives coming from other cities and who have no place to stay during the treatment.
Teknisa's praticipation: monthly contribution.
 

Baleia Hospital

With the collection of donations, the Friends Network intends to purchase new equipment for the Hospital, and to provide the improvement and enlargement of several wards.

Núcleo Assistencial Caminhos para Jesus  (Way to Jesus Assistance Center)

It gives support directly to 2000 people and, indirectly to a 1000 . Amongst the services rendered are: habilitation and rehabilitation of people suffering from multiple, physical, behavioural disorders and other cerebral illness from several aetiologies dependent on ADL (Activity of Daily Living).
