Risotolândia, headquartered in Paraná State – Brazil, has been present in the foodservice industry since 1953 and serves the education, transported food and executive dining industry. The company aims to invest its efforts in operating with streamlined technology and adequate infrastructure since it looks into the future to invest in the present.

Giuliano Nascimento Ribeiro, IT coordinator at Risotolândia, explains how the partnership with Teknisa began: "due to our guidelines for operating with streamlined technology, we entered into partnership with Teknisa in 1995, when we took the first steps for negotiation of a new technology product to support our large food demands. In 1996, the DOS version of TecFood was implemented in our head-office and, as Teknisa launched new versions, we upgraded our system. Presently, we serve a demand of 225,000 meals daily and all operational and administrative managements are processed with the use of Teknisa’s system, thus, we have achieved speed and efficiency in our procurement processes. Also, our administrative processes such as tax and accounting management is now formalized, providing us with more information security. Furthermore, the entire planning, procurement, stock and financial processes are automated and interlinked, saving us time and speeding up our ordering, from the planning process to goods delivery in our branches.

Formerly, our company used to operate with several manual processes and these limited our growth and made us dependent on our staffs’ attitude. Our planning was manual and there were many mistakes and low productivity. Now, with automated processes, we have the guarantee of higher information integrity and security. We are looking to expand our technology as Teknisa launches new products that may integrate with our current platform. With the implementation of Teknisa’s systems, everything has become more secure and dynamic, ensuring greater results for our company. We inform Teknisa of every need for solutions and, in response, they evaluate, design and implement the essential technology, aiming to add value to our business. All this is carried out with secrecy and responsibility to assure information security and transparency of our business.
