Afterwards, the company upgraded to the web version which offers advantages such as the possibility of running on a single database as well as the Rich Client feature that provides better system performance.
According to Albino Júnior - IT director for GRSA, with the use of TecFood the company now works as a menu planning head-office. With the integrated database, the company plans its menus in such a way that the term for negotiation with suppliers extends, ensuring the good flow of goods delivery to the company units and reducing stock turnover.
Also, 100% of the company's cafeterias use the Teknisa sales module that is ''a streamlined, certified and easy-to-use system with touch-screen technology'' - says Albino Junior. The healthcare market is also fully integrated, including diet therapy in which dieticians can use a palmtop device to manage the anamnesis of the patients wherever they are.
TecFood has been also implemented in the other markets covered by GRSA such as Vending Machine (Canteen trademark), infrastructure (ESS trademark) and in 100% of the company's front-office operations.
