Seeking to improve the excellence and quality of its products and services, Teknisa implemented the ISO9001 standards.

In 1998, these standards started getting implemented and was fundamental for the improvement of the organizational processes. During the implementation process, the standards were analyzed in order to carry out the organization of each department and standardization of working methods.

After the Audit made by BVQI in December 1999, Teknisa got the ISO9001 certificate and, later, the ISO9001:2000 in February 2003. In 2006, the work for reviewing the system implemented at the company got started.

It aimed at adapting the system to company's new realistic condition and renewing the ways to make a record of the adopted processes and procedures. In February 2006, after an audit carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification (former BVQI), Teknisa got re-certified with the standards.
