Acuapura, producer of Clor-in products is a company that operates in water treatment and sanitation of food fruits and vegetables for human consumption.The company produces various products to  purify water and turn it into  potable water, also sells  products to disinfect  equipments and surfaces in general.

 

The main active ingredient is a organic salt  chlorinated recognized and approved by international organizations, such as: NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and WHO (World Health Organization)the Clor-in lozenges are also approved by ANVISA(National health Surveillance Agency) located in Brazil.These lozenges also have reports certifying its effectiveness and safety provided by the main laboratories. (LSP Noel Nutels, Adolfo Lutz etc.), brazilian universities (UNICAMP, USP, UFRJ, UnB) located in Sao Paulo,Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia, and health institutes( Fiocruz, CETESB, Vital Brasil). The company is located in Rio de Janeiro and  also focus its activities in Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais and already want expand its business to other regions of the country.

 

According to Marcus Paulo, purchasing manager/ Clor- in logistic strategies: “The company already had a software that had  many problems in performing and it  was not a system focused to our business segment. We faced three stages of implantation, one  of those achieved the expected result.The solution came about when Teknisa made a proposal to us, implant the Pharmax,  a management software focused on pharmaceutical industry and cosmetic.

 

This will enable This would enable us to deploy a more agile and also make it possible to get all the benefits added to the system, such as planning, purchase of materials - MRP, adequate levels of inventory control of products in quarantine, agility in the process of production planning , balance of "capacity vs. demand", batch control and traceability of raw materials and finished goods, issuing labels for product control and regulatory compliance  accordint to ANVISA".

 

The main difference of Teknisa product is the system Pharmax that now operates in Acuapura, is a specific software to pharmaceutical industry and is focused on production.In addition, the system provides the option to issue reports and analyse registry, these functionalities solved the problems that the other software didnt.
